Cirrus Research to Make Noise in North America
Cirrus Research, a UK based specialist in the design, manufacture and distribution of noise measuring equipment will be showcasing a collection of its products on offer to the North American market at the upcoming AIHce exhibition in Montreal, Canada on 18 May to 23 May.
Visitors to the Cirrus Research booth, 2015, will have the chance to try out a number of their products including: Optimus sound level meters, doseBadge Noise Dosimeter and the SoundSign Noise Warning sign.
Optimus – Sound level meters
The Optimus range of sound level meters is the ideal instrument for use in industrial hygiene, featuring an ergonomically designed case, high resolution colour display with integrated noise functions and real time octave band filters. It will measure every parameter simultaneously, so there is no possibility of setting the wrong function, with only the most important data being displayed on the screen.
doseBadge – Personal noise dosemeter
The doseBadge from Cirrus Research is the original wireless personal noise dosemeter. Using a doseBadge is an accurate way of measuring and recording employees’ long term exposure to noise. It is this long term exposure that poses the greatest risk to an employees’ hearing and physical state.
SoundSign – Noise warning sign
SoundSign is a highly visible noise activated warning sign that has been designed for use in environments where there is the need to clearly indicate when a pre-set noise level has been reached. SoundSign can be used within a variety of noisy environments such as factories, workshops, bars and nightclubs, to warn when noise levels become too high and indicate when hearing protection should be worn.
Commenting on Cirrus Research’s attendance at the upcoming AIHce exhibition, James Tingay, Group Marketing Manager said: “Attending AIHce is an ideal opportunity for Cirrus Research to introduce visitors to the latest technologies used in measuring and monitoring noise whether it is for environmental or occupational purposes.”
James continued: “A visit to booth 2015 is a must to find out which Cirrus Research devices can help you deliver on your noise measurement and monitoring commitments.”
